ESCATEC presenting at a seminar on 5th July 2013 in Düsseldorf

ESCATEC will be presenting in Future Electronics Seminar in Düsseldorf, Germany on 5th July 2013.

Daniel Pfeifer will be giving a talk entitled “The medical product design of a Class IIb ventilator”.  This will cover the challenges of designing and building a medical product, which must meet the exacting standards of the ISO13485 specification, and illustrate how these were overcome in practice for the design of a ventilator. 
The design was particularly complicated as needed to be used during operations on a patient’s throat where the normal techniques of a pipe inserted into the throat would block access to the area being operated upon.
