Bhd. was recently recognised for its high commitment to sustainability and the environment by receiving this year’s Prime Minister Hibiscus Award. The award recognises proactive efforts by private businesses and industries to sustain and manage their surroundings and environment. Coordinated initiatives by four of Malaysia’s leading private sector organisations and endorsements from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) and the Dept. of Environment (DOE) lead to the creation of the Hibiscus Award. In an effort to motivate private industries to focus on finding sustainable solutions, all candidates up for the Hibiscus Award receive evaluations on their environmental management efforts. Recognition and public promotion of those with the highest achievements have helped to spur other companies into action, raising the bar of environmental sustainability and management. The ESCATEC Group is proud of its responsible practices helping to protect the environment. Guided by our environmental policies and membership of the United Nations Global Compact, we continuously strive to reduce waste and prevent depletion of Earth’s natural resources.
