We support OEMs with the ongoing manufacture, optimisation, and support of electronics and mechatronics products already in the market — helping you extend product lifecycles and maintain reliable supply.
Keeping products in the market for as long as possible is critical to maximising return on investment and supporting long-term growth. ESCATEC works with OEMs to extend product lifecycles by supporting ongoing manufacturing and ensuring products remain viable as requirements evolve.
This includes managing component obsolescence, maintaining accurate and up-to-date BOMs, and adapting supply chains to changing market conditions. With early visibility of at-risk components and close monitoring of supply markets, we help customers plan ahead, reduce risk, and introduce improvements that keep products cost-effective and manufacturable over time.
ESCATEC supports products already in the field, as well as those still in the supply chain, with repair, rework, and upgrade services. Whether it’s a damaged unit, a batch requiring modification, or a product update identified late in the process, we provide flexible support to help maintain product availability and performance.
Our capabilities include fault diagnosis and failure analysis, repair and rework, remanufacture, and product upgrades. Where repair is not economical, we provide detailed analysis to help identify root causes and support future product improvements. This allows OEMs to maintain supply, reduce waste, and extend the usable life of their products.
Post-production support is about more than simply keeping products in production. We work closely with our customers to manage change, maintain supply, and support products as they evolve over time.
From the start of your partnership through to post-production, you’ll work with a dedicated Key Account Manager who acts as your single point of contact. They proactively coordinate internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly — whether that’s arranging time with our design and development team for product updates or working with procurement specialists to maintain continuity of supply. Their role is to keep things moving and support your growth.
Supporting existing products isn’t just about maintaining production. We work with you to identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and extend product value over time. As your products mature, we help you refine and optimise them — while also supporting the development of the next generation.
