Getting to the event
Zurich's compact size and excellent infrastructure make the venue easy to reach, whether travelling locally or internationally. The Startup Space by IFJ, in Schlieren, is just outside the city centre.

By air: The nearest airport is Zurich Airport (ZRH), located approximately 10 km from the venue. Travel time is typically between 15 and 25 minutes, depending on your mode of transport. You can reach Schlieren by taxi, train, or tram, with frequent, reliable rail connections from the airport to both Zurich Hauptbahnhof (HB) and nearby stations.
By rail and public transport: Zurich's public transport network is very efficient and straightforward to navigate. The nearest station is Schlieren. From Zurich Hauptbahnhof (HB), trains run regularly and take around 10 minutes, while tram connections through the city take approximately 20–25 minutes. From Schlieren station, the venue is a short 10–15 minute walk, or a brief bus or tram ride.
By car: Schlieren is easily accessible via the main road network surrounding Zurich. The journey from central Zurich typically takes 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Parking is available in the surrounding area (see more information on parking here).
Where to stay
There is a wide range of hotels in Zurich with excellent transport links to the venue. Alternatively, staying closer to Schlieren offers quicker access on the day. The event organisers suggest options such as Hotel Tivoli, STAYY Flagship Limmattal, and STAYY Urba Base.
