The team at JJS Electronics recently celebrated AS9100 registration, having been awarded the industry standard for its manufacturing sites in Lutterworth, UK and Chomutov, Czech Republic. Recognition of excellence in business, quality management and operational practice, the registration is proof that JJS operations meet the demanding quality standards of today’s aerospace industry.
Providing external, independent and global recognition of JJS’ status as a quality supplier within the aerospace supply chain, AS9100 is a significant industry benchmark and an extension of the ISO9001 standard. Not only providing assurance to all JJS customers and prospects that manufacturing capabilities exceed industry standards, AS9100 also evidences that quality management systems address additional safety, reliability and quality concerns specific to the aerospace industry. JJS Electronics Ltd. and JJS Electronics sro. will now be subject to regular surveillance visits to ensure systems remain in compliance with AS9100.
Commenting on the recent accreditation, JJS Sales & Operations Manager, Neil Sharp, explains: “We’re obviously delighted to receive our AS9100 certificates – for each of our manufacturing facilities.
