Are UK manufacturers doing enough to nurture young talent?

Organisations that offer graduate schemes help take back control of the skills gap so prominent in the engineering and manufacturing sector today. Unfortunately, it's going to get worse before it gets better so the more 'self-sufficient' companies are now in attracting, growing and retaining their own talent, the brighter the next 3-5 years should be for them. And as a graduate working towards a robust training scheme, you receive on the job learning, a competitive salary and your chance to progress through the company. It really is a win-win situation.
